  After about 10 minutes of being followed around very closely and making it pretty clear that we weren’t interesting in what this sales person was giving us, we left before looking at all the products.

  I wouldn't order from this furniture store if it were the last one on the planet. Honestly, it really isn't worth the bother. I would rather buy a cheap set from another store and replace it every few years. I still have my last furniture set from the Gallery which is still good it just needs reupholstering. I thought it would be easier to buy and use that set in the basement. I wish I had of just went with my gut.

  Nice store, great selection, but I had to leave the store because the sales person was rude, ignorant, and hovered over us the entire time we were there.

  I ordered two chairs, yes custom ordered, but I ordered two properly aligned and structured chairs. I am completely dismayed by the incredibly poor customer service and the product. The other pieces are not without fault but I can live with. The work is sloppy at best but most of it you can't see.

  I wish there was an option to rate this furniture store in the negative. I purchased over $5000 worth of furniture which included two reclining Lazy Boy chairs. When the two chairs arrived, I noticed that one of the seats was slanted. I feel like I'm tilted when sitting in the chair. I sent it back for repair 3 times!!! They keep telling me there is nothing wrong with the chair...are they blind?!?!! Everyone who comes into my home can see it straight away. They keep telling me it is a 'custom order' and that I cannot return it.

  I did read other reviews on how the staff was not friendly, even rude and they lie. I can verify this as well. Keep your money in your pocket, you will be better off even if you have to sit on the floor!!!

  If you can't find what your looking for at Jordans Home Furnishings in New Minas Nova Scotia you can't find it anywhere, nice friendly perfessional sales consultants, and Phil is always near by to have a little chat with and share an interesting story. A Hugh selection of quality furniture to fit any life style design in comfort. Plus delivered when you want wareever you live in Atlantic Canada. Thanks Phil; happy wife happy life!!

  Wanted to purchase a sofa set in New Minas today. The salesman definitely needs a lesson in customer service. Was abrupt, barely tried to help. Not even a thank you for coming in as we were leaving, just an OK. Last time walking in their store.

  Drove down the street and bought from their competitor. All furniture is the same. Service is what makes the difference.

  Unfortunately, this sales experience is common amongst furniture stores. This just happened to be the worst. Why can’t I just go into a furniture store and look around without being hassled.

  We commented that we liked a particular couch but it was too expensive for us and the salesman felt he needed to tell us it came in 15 types of material and that we shouldn’t dismiss the couch without all the info on it. My mother in law said she liked another couch but not in white, and the sales person said “but you’re wearing white, how can you say you don’t like white?” Referring to her cardigan. I’m pretty sure my mother in law wasn’t going to wear the couch. Such an ignorant thing to say.

  Their selection is above average and staff very helpful. If they don't have it they can get it and don't be shy to ask for a deal. Thanks to Wanda Benjamin for being awesome!
